Marketer

Meta, Google, funnels, email, SEO. The channels change every month; the loop does not: run tests, read the numbers, kill what fails, scale what works.

01

Watch this first

Before the email, watch the pitch for this role. It is the same thing we would say on the call: what the work is, who it suits, and what happens after you apply.

Role video

What the Marketer job actually looks like.

What a normal week holds, who the role suits, what it does not suit, and what the test actually measures.

Video coming shortly. The pitch for this role goes here: what the work looks like, who it suits, and how the test works.

02

What you'll actually be doing

You run acquisition for four businesses: how new customers find them and what one costs to get. Some of that is paid ads, some is a landing page, some is an email that goes out on Tuesday. You run the tests, you read the numbers honestly, and once a week you say out loud what worked, what you are stopping, and what you are trying next.

  • Build and run Meta and Google campaigns: audiences, budgets, creative, and bidding that fits a small business.
  • Write and build the landing pages and funnels the ads point at, then fix the step where people drop off.
  • Write the email: the sequence for a new lead, the one for a quiet customer, the one that carries the offer.
  • Write the SEO and AEO content that reaches the people who were never going to click an ad.
  • Test offers and prices, not only headlines. Most of a small business's gains are in the offer.
  • Keep tracking straight: what came in, what converted, what it cost. A number nobody trusts is worse than no number.
  • Write the weekly read: what the data said, what you changed because of it, and the next test.

Who this is for

Someone who likes data more than opinions and can write clearly. You are willing to say that a channel you spent a month on does not work, and you would rather run four small tests than one large bet.

Who this is not for

Someone looking for the magic channel, or a system they can set and forget. Marketing changes and you adapt monthly; if you want a proven playbook to repeat, this will feel restless.

Four clients, max
Every specialist holds at most four businesses at once. The cap is the job, not a perk: it is why the work is good.
From $997 a month
Base pay starts at $997 a month and rises with the work you hold and the clients you keep.
A senior above you
You report to someone who has done this role at this company, with the whole specialist team and the software behind you.

Yes. Full time, fully remote, US EST hours.

Do I need my own tools or subscriptions?

No. Everything runs on SuperCool, our own platform, and we provide it.

Yes, directly, from day one.

How to apply

One email, one role, and something you have actually made or done. That is the whole application. Nobody is reading for keywords.

What to send

  • One campaign you ran, and what it actually cost per customer.
  • One thing you got wrong, and how the numbers told you.
  • A piece of writing meant to sell something rather than to be clever.
  • One link to something you have actually made or done in this kind of work.
  • Your name and where you are based, so we know which hours you keep.

What not to send

  • No generic cover letter. If you want to write something, write it about this role.
  • No CV longer than one page. One page, or a link.
  • No list of tools you have used without saying what you built with them.
  • No second application. Applying to more than one role reads as applying to none.
  1. You email us. One email to jobs@doubleup.ai with the role name in the subject line. Applications open by email for now, and that address is the whole entry point.
  2. You get the test. Within two working days we send the practical test for the role you picked, with the brief and the tools you will need.
  3. You do the test. You take the time it asks for and send it back. The test is the whole interview: there is no panel and no second stage after it.
  4. You hear back. Roughly a week from the day you send the test in. Everyone who does the test hears back either way, yes or no.
Apply for this role by email

Applications open by email for now. The button opens a message to jobs@doubleup.ai with Marketer already in the subject line — send it as it is, or write over the top of it.

06

The application test

The test is the whole interview: there is no second stage and no panel. You get live account data from a real business and you tell us what it says.

What you are given

A live account

Fourteen days of real ad data from a real business, with the spend and the results left exactly as they were.

How long it takes

About 90 minutes

Your read of what happened, what you would change, and the next test you would run.

What is measured

How you think

Whether you separate a real signal from a good-looking week, and whether you can write it plainly enough for an owner to act on.

Test content — coming shortly

The Marketer test goes here.

The account, the fourteen days of data, and the questions we would want answered from it. The test content is being written and will be published on this page.
